Spread the Love with the PBJ500!

Every year the Liverpool Christian Church runs what they call the PBJ500. During the summer months, the Food Bank sees its donations dramatically decrease. LCC holds this food drive to boost their donations for families in need with the goal of donating 500 each of peanut butter and jelly. Want to know how you can help? Check out the PBJ500 post on their website and bring a jar (or 10 or 20) to one of the listed drop-off locations around Central New York during the month of July!

Drop-Off Locations:

• Chick-Fil-A
• Timber Banks Golf
• Custom Logo USA
• Cafe 407
• Northwest YMCA
• The Artisan
• Rio Grande

For LCC Love is Not Just the Goal, It’s the Mission

Pastor Wayne Wagner and the LCC family defines love as, “Doing the best and giving the best to the point of self-sacrifice.” He implores churchgoers and the community at large to give their best for others. In his mind, words and actions the mission of Christ is simply to love. Check out a service sometime! The energy is incredible, the messages raw and insightful and the atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming.

A central tenet of Wayne’s message is that everyone is welcome to walk in the doors of LCC. No matter who you are or where you’ve come from, he welcomes people of all walks of life to find out about the life and meaning of Jesus Christ, to learn how to better serve others, and to make love a part of your life every day in how you work, serve and play.

In 2018 over 1500 pounds of PB&J have been donated!

That means over 700 families can have food in their cupboard when they need it most. Now that’s something worth being a part of. How many jars will they raise in 2019? Let’s bring it up to 2000+ – get in contact with WMC or LCC directly to learn how you can donate, set up a PBJ500 Drop-Off Location or how you can get your hands dirty in helping your local community.
